CONGRESSIONAL LETTER OF SUPPORT NOW ON CAPITOL HILL - TELL YOUR LAWMAKERS TO SIGN ASAP

Today, for the first time ever, Congressional lawmakers are joining together to support the U.S. commemorative stamp proposal to honor the Japanese Americans ("Nisei") who served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Never before has the Nisei WWII veterans stamp initiative reached Congress like this. A "Dear Colleague" letter is being circulated in the House of Representatives asking Congress Members to sign in support. Some have already given their verbal support backing this initiative, and expressed their willingness to team up to get this stamp done swiftly. In the Senate, individual Senators are being asked to send their own letters backing this proposal. Senator Daniel Inouye has already sent a letter to the Postal Commission, and is one of the Senators spearheading efforts.

Please take action today to remind them to quickly sign this Congressional Letter of Support to be sent to the Postal Service's Advisory Committee soon. They receive hundreds of requests, so it is imperative that you voice your support to them. A short message will suffice. Lawmakers will only have about a week to sign. Thank you!
